Starting the Journey Again
Starting my journey once again. I have been to hell back. Seeing the worse of myself and the best of myself. Now I have picked up my paint brush once again to tell my story. I lose the motivation to create at one point. But with the birth of second child and the appearance of the greatest man I have ever known in to my life. I found my drive to create again.

Hey there,
Pretty much what Penlink said. Start gathering material on environments and references. You need to build a visual library of these things to understand them more. Check out a link like this and maybe do some studies of them- [link]
I think actually you should just do some individual studies on environments...meaning environments with no figures first. Trying to do a a figure+a environment when still learning might be too much at first. Also try to make quick sketches of things around you at the campus or wherever you might go. They don't have to be super detailed or anything but the idea is to help you see and visualize more of whats around you and environments your in. Anyway just alittle study like that I think tends to help. I'll be by the studio room Friday so I'll try to give you more pointers. Darn finals and last minute assignments are a pain this semester...
